The Power Of Positive Thinking

I'm a true fan of optomism.

Don't get me wrong, I get in my funks and my bad moods too - but I always know, in my heart of hearts, that to be optomistic is the way to go.

I used to be of the mindset, "I'd rather be pessimistic because then, when things don't work out, I won't be disappointed."

Do YOU think this way?

My take on it now, is that it's actually the opposite - I think that if we're pessimistic, then we have a harder time accepting and dealing with a situation when something "bad" happens to us, because it will feel like it's just one more problem stacked on top of an already existing pile of "too many" problems.

On the other hand, if we live our lives being optomistic, let's say, oh... 80% of the time?  Then I feel like we can deal with things a lot easier because one negative experience amongst a giant pile of positive experiences would, literally, make the ONE negative experience feel pretty insignificant in contrast to the rest of our lives because our lives would be better.

What about your art?

How do you feel about it?

Do you feel negative?

Or positive?

Even if you truly believe that your art isn't very good at all, how useful is it to think of that situation as a GOOD thing, versus thinking of it as a BAD thing?

I'd say it's pretty useful.

What do you think?

Yes, I actually want to know, lol.

I'll talk to you soon :)
